This role is critical for ensuring robust database performance, high availability, and secure operations across Oracle Core and Applications environments.ResponsibilitiesInstall, implement, patch, upgrade, and administer Oracle Core and Applications environmentsProvide production support and troubleshooting for Oracle databases and applicationsManage Oracle High Availability technologies (Dataguard, Cluster database systems)Perform backup, restoration, and cloning activitiesOptimize database and application performance through tuning and configurationSupport middleware technologies and open-source infrastructure componentsEnsure compliance with licensing and security standardsRequired Qualifications & Skills5+ years of experience in Oracle Core & Apps DBA roles within large organizationsStrong banking industry backgroundExpertise in Oracle Core database and Oracle ApplicationsHands-on experience with Oracle High Availability technologies (Dataguard, RAC)Proficiency in tools/utilities: Oracle Internet Directory, OEM, OAM, Audit Vault, RMAN, Data Pumps, backup/recovery modelsExcellent troubleshooting, configuration, and performance tuning skillsKnowledge of open-source infrastructure and licensing complianceNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Oracle Internet Application ServerFamiliarity with cloud-based Oracle deploymentsExposure to automation tools for DBA tasksStrong scripting skills for database operationsKnowledge of advanced security and auditing mechanismsRecruitment Pro TipHighlight your hands-on experience with Oracle High Availability technologies and performance tuning in your CV.
