Infrastructure Inspectors (Dry Utilities)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Infrastructure Inspector specializing in Dry Utilities to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality safety and compliance of dry utility infrastructure projects throughout the emirate.Conduct thorough inspections of dry utility systems including electricity telecommunications and gas infrastructureAnalyze and evaluate the condition of existing infrastructure and new installationsPrepare detailed inspection reports highlighting any issues or areas of concernEnsure compliance with local and international standards as well as UAE construction regulationsCollaborate with project managers contractors and other stakeholders to address and resolve infrastructure-related issuesUtilize specialized inspection equipment and data collection tools to gather and analyze informationInterpret technical drawings and blueprints to verify proper installation and maintenance of dry utility systemsParticipate in project planning and coordination meetings to provide expert input on infrastructure requirementsStay updated on industry best practices emerging technologies and regulatory changes in the field of dry utility infrastructureQualifications : Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure inspection particularly in dry utilitiesIn-depth knowledge of dry utility systems including electricity telecommunications and gas infrastructureProficiency in various inspection techniques and equipmentStrong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to utility infrastructureExcellent technical writing skills for preparing comprehensive inspection reportsAbility to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprintsProficiency in data collection and analysis toolsExperience with project management and coordinationRelevant certifications in infrastructure inspection or utility systems (e.g. NACE API) preferredFamiliarity with UAE construction standards and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesEffective communication skills to interact with various stakeholdersWillingness to work in diverse field conditions and travel within the emirate as requiredAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
