Infrastructure Director

<div><p>The Infrastructure Director is responsible for defining and leading the organization’s infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-efficient technology platforms that support business growth and digital transformation.</p><p>This role provides executive oversight across data centers, cloud platforms, networks, security operations, database services, and DevOps enablement. The Director will drive long-term planning, governance, and operational excellence while aligning infrastructure capabilities with business objectives and enterprise architecture.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Define and execute the enterprise infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.</li><li>Lead modernization programs (cloud adoption, automation, platform standardization, and legacy transformation).</li><li>Establish long-term roadmaps covering scalability, resilience, and innovation.</li><li>Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards across infrastructure domains.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (NCA, DMO, ISO 27001) and internal controls.</li><li>Drive risk management, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Provide executive oversight of on-prem data centers, network architecture, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).</li><li>Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of all infrastructure services.</li><li>Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity strategies at an enterprise level.</li></ul><h3>Security&Risk Integration</h3><ul><li>Partner with cybersecurity leadership to embed security-by-design principles across all infrastructure layers.</li><li>Oversee infrastructure-related security posture including vulnerability management, patching strategies, and incident response readiness.</li></ul><h3>Platform&Service Ownership</h3><ul><li>Ensure reliable and scalable delivery of infrastructure services including:</li><li>Database platforms (SQL/NoSQL)</li><li>DevOps and CI/CD enablement</li><li>Drive platform standardization, automation, and service optimization.</li><li>Own and optimize the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.</li><li>Lead strategic vendor partnerships, contract negotiations, and SLA governance.</li><li>Drive cloud financial management (FinOps) and cost optimization strategies.</li></ul><h3>Leadership&Organizational Development</h3><ul><li>Build and lead a high-performing infrastructure organization across multiple domains.</li><li>Define organizational structure, capabilities, and succession planning.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><h3>Stakeholder&Executive Engagement</h3><ul><li>Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on infrastructure strategy and risks.</li><li>Collaborate with business units to ensure infrastructure supports operational and strategic needs.</li><li>Communicate performance, risks, and transformation progress to senior stakeholders.</li><li>Define KPIs and SLAs for infrastructure services and ensure consistent performance tracking.</li><li>Lead incident governance, post-incident reviews, and systemic improvements.</li></ul><h3>Job Requirements</h3><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.</li><li>Master’s degree is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>12+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure.</li><li>At least 5+ years in a managerial/lead role overseeing teams or large‑scale infrastructure projects.</li><li>Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure environments and transformation initiatives.</li></ul><p>Strong expertise in:</p><ul><li>Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and hybrid models</li><li>Infrastructure security and compliance</li><li>DevOps and platform engineering practices</li><li>Strong strategic thinking and business alignment capability.</li><li>Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams.</li><li>Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets.</li><li>Decision-making driven by data, risk awareness, and business impact.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
