Information Technology Technician

<div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance and "train" users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure.</li><li>End‑user’s hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair for AV system, Computers, Printers, Telecommunication and Network Equipment.</li><li>IT asset inventory and status reports, including decommission activities.</li><li>Set up and operate AV/System equipment used for events, such as microphones, projectors, sound equipment for events, presentations, meetings, conventions and media coverage.</li><li>Set up, operate and maintain Printers/MFPs, manage Ysoft Safe‑Q print solution system and badge printing for events and staff.</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in‑person (on site), remotely and via phone.</li><li>Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.</li><li>Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel.</li><li>Assist employees with computer problems and answer their queries.</li><li>Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule follow‑up with the vendors for repairs/new orders including printer cartridges etc.</li><li>Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work; conduct surveys to ensure hardware and software are up to date.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from an accredited university, preferably with Certification in:<ul><li>CompTIA A+</li><li>Microsoft Certified IT Professional</li></ul></li></ul><p>Experience: 2+ years’ experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.</p><p>Job Category: Information Technology Technician</p><p>Advertiser: Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government</p><p>Educational-level: Bachelor</p><p>Required Nationality: UAE Only</p><p>Monthly Salary: Unspecified</p><p>Schedule-Time: Full time</p><p>Job Posting: 27/03/2026</p><p>Unposting Date: 27/04/2026</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
