<div><p><b>Job Title:</b>IT Officer</p><p><b>Location:</b>Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>Aon is seeking an IT Officer to support our office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for a fresh graduate or early-career professional (0-2 years) with a strong interest in corporate IT support and services.</p><p>The IT Officer will work closely with the local office and regional IT teams to provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and ensure a reliable and secure technology environment for colleagues and clients. A self-starter with strong communication skills.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide first-line technical support for end users in the Al Khobar office (hardware, software, network, and peripherals).</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related equipment in line with Aon standards and procedures.</li><li>Support Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Aon’s internal IT systems and tools.</li><li>Monitor and respond to IT service requests and incidents in the ticketing system within agreed service levels.</li><li>Assist with user account administration (creation, modification, deactivation) and access rights in accordance with Aon security and compliance policies.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching on workstations and other office equipment as directed.</li><li>Support meeting room technology (video conferencing, audio/visual equipment) and remote/hybrid working setups.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, and software licenses used in the office.</li><li>Escalate complex technical issues to regional or global IT teams, following defined escalation procedures.</li><li>Assist with implementation of local and regional IT initiatives, upgrades, and projects.</li><li>Document standard procedures and provide basic user guidance and training where needed.</li><li>Ensure adherence to all Aon IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills and Experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.</li><li>0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, co‑op placements, or part‑time technical support roles are an advantage.</li></ul><p>Solid basic understanding of:</p><ul><li>Microsoft Windows operating systems</li><li>Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)</li><li>PC hardware, peripherals, printers, and basic networking concepts</li><li>Strong attention to detail in following procedures, documenting work, and maintaining accurate records.</li><li>Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑service mindset.</li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced office environment.</li></ul><h3>Language Requirements</h3><ul><li>Fluent English (written, spoken, and reading) is required.</li><li>Arabic language skills are preferred and will be considered an advantage.</li></ul><h3>HR Statement – Saudi Arabia</h3><p>Aon complies with applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its recruitment and employment practices.
