Job Description

Role Overview: As IT Manager, you will be the single point of accountability for all internal IT infrastructure, applications, and policies across: Company (holding company), and its majority-owned joint ventures. You will design, implement, and run a secure, scalable, Microsoft-centric IT environment that supports: A small but growing organisation (currently Distributed teams across Qatar and Pakistan, Rapid onboarding and scale-up as new ventures and hires are added. Key Responsibilities Microsoft Enterprise Stack (Internal) Own rollout, configuration, and ongoing management of: Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Office) Dynamics 365 (as applicable to internal operations) Azure services and identity (Entra ID / Azure AD) Standardise tools, access, and usage across Company and its ventures. Manage licensing, security baselines, and access models. IT Security, Risk & Resilience Own internal cybersecurity posture and controls. Implement and manage: Identity and access management, Endpoint and device management (e.g. Intune), Data protection, backup, and recovery, Secure remote and hybrid working. Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity readiness. Infrastructure & Internal Operations Manage all internal users, devices, and access (Pakistan and Qatar). Ensure stable, secure collaboration across locations. Establish lightweight but effective IT service management practices. Act as escalation point for internal IT incidents and issues. Productivity, Workflow & Digital Enablement Enable modern, high-productivity ways of working using Microsoft tools. Drive adoption of collaboration, automation, and workflow optimisation. Reduce friction in day-to-day work through smart tooling and configuration. Ensure Company practices what it preaches in digital transformation. Governance & Scale Readiness Define and maintain internal IT policies and documentation. Manage vendors, MSPs, and specialist partners as required. Prepare the internal IT environment for growth, audits, and due diligence. What Were Looking For Experience & Credentials 7+ years in internal IT infrastructure or IT management roles. Strong hands on experience with the Microsoft enterprise ecosystem. Relevant Microsoft and/or security certifications. Experience supporting enterprise, regulated, or high trust environments. Experience in energy, industrial, consulting, or technology organisations is an advantage. Personal Attributes Enterprise-grade judgement and professionalism. Security conscious, but pragmatic and productivity-focused. Comfortable working in a small, fast growing organisation. Structured, dependable, and calm under pressure. Passion for modern IT, workflows, and digital enablement.
