Infection Preventionist - Healthcare

Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Infection Preventionist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating infection prevention and control programs to ensure patient and staff safety in compliance with DHA regulations and international standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement infection prevention and control policies and proceduresConduct infection surveillance and monitor healthcare‑associated infectionsLead infection control audits and ensure compliance with DHA and accreditation standardsProvide staff education and training on infection prevention practicesParticipate in outbreak investigations and risk assessmentsCollaborate with clinical teams to promote patient safety initiativesRequirements & Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsExcellent communication and training abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of healthcare accreditation standards (JCI experience is an advantage)Key RequirementsValid DHA License (mandatory)3 to 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting (clinical practice, nursing, public health, allied health, or related field)Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant healthcare disciplineCertification or Diploma in Infection Prevention and ControlStrong knowledge of infection surveillance, prevention strategies, and regulatory standardsExperience in hospital‑based infection control programs preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
