The Indirect EMEA Leader will lead the Regional Indirect Material & Services category management and sourcing teams for the $500 M indirect spend across the indirect categories including MRO, Energy, Capital equipment, Packaging, Travel (air, hotel & car), fleet vehicles, IT/Telecom, Office equipment & supplies, facility services, HR services, Finance, marketing & legal related requirements.The incumbent will be responsible to manage the development and the deployment of an EMEA Center‑led sourcing strategy for Indirect Materials & Services in alignment with the Global SCM team to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply of materials & services at optimum quality, service, and cost, while directly managing the regional category experts in the sourcing, supplier selection and relationship building with key suppliers to leverage Eaton’s spend and reduce cost across all business units.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Last year, we announced the construction of a new sustainable campus in Dubai, which will bring together our commercial, manufacturing, and support functions, providing room for future growth.What You’ll DoYou will develop strategy and connected strategic initiatives to facilitate cross‑business synergies across a rationalized set of global and regional preferred supplier partners. You will also support Team members in the execution of the initiatives.You will negotiate and manage key strategic supplier contracts and relationships.You will review, approve, monitor and report compliance to category agreements and strategies based upon Eaton SCM strategic directions.You will develop innovative business solutions, forecast commodity projections and provide mitigation actions as applicable to ensure key metrics for the procurement function (Cost Out, Resiliency, Working Capital, Diversity Spend, etc.) are achieved.You will develop and present global communication plans and share new planning tools, methods, technical analysis, standards and procurement opportunities with senior management that are aligned with SCM/Eaton strategic plans and cost reduction initiatives.You will benchmark procurement processes to develop and implement best practices throughout Eaton and Supply Chain Management.You will ensure compliance of suppliers with Eaton SCM Sustainability Programs, and SCM policies.You will plan, prepare, and execute annual profit planning for the owned spend, and support execution with the business cross functional teams.You will lead Supplier Business Reviews with strategic suppliers.You will support flex in the Category scope following acquisitions or divestiture in the business.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited institutionProven performance in managing a strategic commodity and a global teamMinimum of 10 years' professional experience in Supply ChainProfessional Supply Chain related certification (e.g. CPM, CPIM) preferredMBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain from an accredited institution preferredPrior experience managing regional teams supporting multiple businesses and sites.Demonstrated ability to develop commercial relationships beyond traditional supply relationships (to secure Eaton's needed copper).Knowledge of category management and ability to identify technology and economical trends across multiple Indirect CategoriesDemonstrates knowledge and experience in successfully deploying category strategies, driving cost‑out (through material optimization, material utilization, and negotiations), and implementing a resilient supply chain.SkillsCreative thinking skills to produce new approaches in category management and implementation of emerging tools & technologiesCommunication, customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with senior management, suppliers, operations and Sales personnelDemonstrate leadership competenciesAbility to lead others and develop careers of team membersAbility to coordinate cross‑functional / global teamsAbility to influence and drive effective organ
