Job Description

Position Name: ICTManager Location: Doha, Qatar Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT engineering or any related specialization Minimum Experience 15 years in ICT department in a similar organization with at least 5 years of managerial experience Strong background in retail services automation is required Job specific skills Direct management skills of major ICT operations Knowledge in Business principles and techniques of administration, organization, and management to include an in-depth understanding of the key business issues that exist in the oil and gas industry. These include, but are not limited to, knowledge of strategic and operational planning, oil and gas economics, personnel administration, federal, state and local laws, marketing, financial and cost analysis, trends in the ICT industry, and primary oil and gas technology/administrative theory and practice. Knowledge in Systems design and development process, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation and operational management. Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues both logical and interpersonal. Effective verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills, all geared toward coordination and education. Ability to negotiate and defuse conflicts. Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative. Willingness to travel when necessary. Experience in various business activities for Oil & Gas field. Exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions. Experience in practice management, financial management and similar activities. Excellent knowledge of ICT applications, software and hardware devices. Excellent knowledge of ICT policies and regulatory requirements. Good commercial acumen. Excellent ICT knowledge and experience in aligning ICT with business requirements. Excellent leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
