Hydrotest foreman

Role & responsibilitiesSupervise and execute hydrostatic testing of heat exchangers, pipelines, and related pressure systems as per approved procedures and standards.Plan and coordinate hydro testing activities in line with project schedules and site requirements.Refer to the Test Packages and prepare the site.Ensure correct installation and operation of pressure chart recorders, gauges, pumps, hoses, and associated testing equipment.Interpret and verify test pressures using pressure charts and recorded data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with test specifications.Monitor test parameters such as pressure, duration, temperature, and leakage during testing operations.Identify, report, and assist in rectification of leaks, pressure drops, or non conformities observed during testing.Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to work systems during hydro testing operations.Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors, engineers, and client representatives during testing and inspections.Ensure proper draining, drying, and reinstatement of systems after completion of hydro testing.Supervise and guide hydro testing technicians and helpers, ensuring efficient manpower utilization.
