Hybrid PM and Frontend Engineer

Able is building regulated, Sharia-compliant stablecoin infrastructure in the UAE. On top of our core AED stablecoin, we’re developing an agentic financial application that gives users an intelligent interface for wallet management, payments, savings, and financial services, powered by AI agents that can execute financial tasks on their behalf .Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Hybrid PM and Frontend Engineer role based in Dubai. A hybrid role for someone who can own both the product vision and the frontend execution. You’ll define what we build, then build it. You’ll lead product strategy, user research, and roadmap prioritization while simultaneously shipping production React Native / web interfaces. The ideal candidate is a strong frontend engineer who has grown into product thinking, or a PM who never stopped coding.WHAT YOU’LL OWNProductDefine and prioritize the product roadmap for the Able financial app, balancing user needs, regulatory constraints, and business goals.Lead user research and design sprints to validate features before engineering investment. Translate findings into clear specs and acceptance criteria.Own the product metrics framework: activation, retention, transaction volume, and agent task completion rates.Coordinate across engineering, design, compliance, and business development to ship on time.Frontend EngineeringBuild and maintain the core mobile application (React Native) and web dashboard, including wallet UI, transaction flows, portfolio views, and agent interaction surfaces.Implement open banking API integrations (account aggregation, payment initiation, balance checks) with clean, responsive UI patterns that make complex workflows feel simple.Design and build the agentic UX layer: conversational interfaces, approval flows, task status tracking, and transparency controls that let users see and manage what AI agents are doing with their money.Integrate wallet functionality: key management UX, transaction signing flows, onchain activity displays, and fiat on/off-ramp interfaces.Ensure performance, accessibility, and security best practices across all client-side code.REQUIREMENTS2+ years of frontend engineering experience shipping production mobile and/or web applications, with strong React Native or React expertise.Demonstrated product ownership: you’ve defined roadmaps, run user research, written specs, and made prioritization tradeoffs, not just executed on someone else’s tickets.Experience with fintech, payments, or financial services products. You understand the UX challenges of building trust around money movement.Familiarity with open banking APIs and standards (PSD2, account aggregation providers like Lean, Tarabut, or Plaid).Strong design sensibility: you can work from a design system or partner closely with a designer to ship polished, intuitive interfaces.Comfort with ambiguity. You’ll often be the first person to define how a feature should work.NICE TO HAVEExperience building AI/LLM-powered user interfaces (chat UIs, agent dashboards, approval workflows).Background in crypto wallet UX or Web3 frontend development.Familiarity with the MENA fintech ecosystem (regulators, payment rails, user behaviors).Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and modern state management patterns.Understanding of Islamic finance principles or experience building for Muslim-majority markets.WHY ABLEOwn both the product and the code.
