HVAC ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team for offshore oil and gas projects including drilling rigs and pipeline facilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation of technical specifications, design, vendor coordination, and supporting construction and commissioning activities related to HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and review HVAC system specifications, datasheets, and technical drawings in compliance with project requirements and international standards.Perform technical evaluation and review of vendor documents and equipment design packages.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of HVAC systems with other engineering components.Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.Ensure all designs comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable international codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, API, ISO, IEC).Liaise with vendors, clients, and EPC contractors to resolve design and installation issues.Deliver documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring quality standards are met.KEY QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree (BSc/BE) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline is required.Master's Degree (MSc/MTech) in a relevant engineering field is an advantage.Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC engineering within the offshore oil and gas sector, particularly with EPC contractors and/or engineering consultants.Strong background in HVAC systems for offshore platforms, drilling rigs, and pipeline facilities.Strong knowledge of international HVAC design codes and standards.Experience supporting project execution from design through to commissioning.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.#J-18808-Ljbffr
