The role includes supervising, troubleshooting, and restoring operations of facility systems and equipment, scheduling preventive maintenance, and handling work orders. Daily supervisory field inspections and assisting craftspeople in assigned duties are required.Essential Job FunctionsMust possess good customer relation skills to effectively provide assistance to company and customer representativesMust be able to respond to after-hours calls and work requirementsMust be in and remain in the appropriate physical condition to meet OSHA requirements of 50 poundsIf operating a company vehicle, must possess and retain a valid current driver’s license and operate the company vehicle in a safe mannerEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial/industrial HVAC/R systems, including Computer Room Air Conditioning Systems (CRAC)EPA Universal Certification requiredMust be able to troubleshoot and repair CRAC systemsKnowledge & SkillsMust possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow upMust be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMust be customer service orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power PointKnowledge of safety rules and practices and environmental policiesAdditional RequirementsMust possess a valid U.
