We deploy global capabilities locally to our clients and deliver endtoend services across the whole life cycle of an asset including consulting advisory & environmental services intelligent networks & cybersecurity design & engineering procurement project & construction management operations & maintenance decommissioning and capital.We are seeking a detailoriented HSE Inspector to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a transportation project entering the Design & Build (D&B) phase. The selected candidate will work under the HSE Manager and be responsible for monitoring the D&B contractors compliance with health safety and environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.ResponsibilitiesConduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Monitor and ensure the D&B contractors compliance with HSE standards regulations and project-specific requirements.Review the contractors HSE plans risk assessments and method statements.Assist in incident investigations and ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented including photographs of the incident as required.Prepare and present HSE reports including statistics trends and recommendations for improvement.Provide HSE guidance and support to the project team contractors and stakeholders.Coordinate and conduct HSE training and awareness programs for project personnel and contractors.Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and maintained.Promote a positive HSE culture and ensure continuous improvement in HSE performance.Participate in project meetings and provide updates on HSE matters.Qualifications and Educational RequirementsBachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.Professional certification in HSE (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH CSP) is highly desirable.Knowledge and ExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in HSE management with a focus on metro or railway projects.Proven experience in a PMC environment acting as a client representative.Indepth knowledge of HSE regulations standards and best practices.Experience in conducting HSE audits inspections and incident investigations.Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles.Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple stakeholders.Preferred SkillsMandatory Experience in the rail metro or any transit sectors or something similar.Familiarity with project management principles and practices.Proficiency in using HSE management software and tools.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to influence and drive a positive HSE culture.Why choose AtkinsRalisWe care for our people and are committed to creating an inclusive working environment where you can thrive and build a future you want to be a part of.Rewards & BenefitsA competitive salaryTransportation allowanceMedical and life insurance coverAnnual leaveCompany gratuity schemeDiscretionary bonus schemeAnnual flight allowance to point of originEmployee WellBeing Programme 24 hour free advice on financial legal and family care specialists and also access to personal health fitness and nutrition consultants;Diversity and InclusionAtkinsRalis is committed to eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity amongst our workforces.
