HSE Officer

With over 22,000 employees across 400 locations, we are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that help communities and businesses thrive.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies at our project sites. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HSE principles and practices, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:Responsible for overall site Safety health and environment management.Shall prepare site safety plan & procedures for site and implement safety policy.Shall conduct safety meetings at least once every month and conduct the site safety Audit and report that to the management.Health and safety supervisors conduct safety Training and other necessary training as fit by the management.Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and documents them for reference.Consult with workers and management on the best approach to deliver a safe working environment for all workers.Conduct risk assessment program for the site work activities.Conduct Audit for the site, contractor and sub-contractor, Raise NCR, Accident, Incident Report.Client Service Management- Internal and external client liaison- Ability to build and maintain safety environment at site.- Experience in infra project HSE supervision Management.Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.- Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.- Maintain the health and safety environment at workplace.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent.Minimum of 15 years of experience in Operations & Maintenance, preferably in Pumping Station, Construction rehabilitation work and Wastewater background.NEBOSH IGC level 3 is mandatory and other HSE related Diploma certification.
