Share this job as a link in your status update to LinkedIn.LocationCategoryHSEJob TypeFull-timeWorking DaysJob DescriptionThe HSE Officer will be responsible for assisting the Senior HSE Engineer in monitoring and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards under the direct supervision of Resident Engineer at designated site.The role involves ensuring contractor compliance with ADOSH (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health) regulations and client guidelines, conducting site inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among all project stakeholders.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the Senior HSE Engineer in reviewing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with ADOSH HSE standards.Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.Monitor and enforce safe work practices among contractors and project personnel.Assist in reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and HSE reports.Conduct HSE inductions and training sessions for site personnel.Investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all HSE-related activities.Liaise with project managers, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.Promote a positive HSE culture and awareness within the project team.Perform other project duties as assigned by the management.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, engineering, or a related field.NEBOSH IGC or higher certification.Knowledge of ISO 45001 and other relevant safety management systems.Proficiency in HSE reporting and documentation tools.Strong knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation processes.Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction industry.Proficiency in MS Office and CADStrong communication skills in English both written and verbal; Arabic will be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
