HSE OFFICER/ ADVISOR/ ENGINEERShould have a bachelor degree/diploma in science or engineering.Minimum 5 years experience is must ( Preferable to have experience in GCC/Qatar)NEBOSH IGC and IOSH Managing Safely certification is mustGood communication skills are expectedGraduate engineers with the above experience will be designated as HSE engineersImplement HSE requirements at all levels in the project, including PTW where required.Liaise with customer for HSE related mattersMaintain reference standards including legal documents related to HSE as required in the project.Develop job specific hazard analysis for every activity.Identify and record near misses and follow up for corrective and preventive actions.Analyze trend of accidents, incidences and near misses and initiate preventive measures.Be a part of investigations carried out following any incident or accident.Disseminate the learning points from all the accidents, incidents and near misses.Maintain records of all inspections, toolbox talks and file in proper way for easy irretrievability.Coordinate for internal and external audits as per the audit schedule. Report all violations and incidentsMonitor implementation of Galfar Golden RulesCarry out/coordinate for site specific HSE trainingsPrepare monthly HSE performance report and submit to corporate officeMonitor and ensure project site welfare requirementsFocal point for maintaining Monitoring and Measuring Devices related to HSE, used in the project.HSE Orientation/induction the of new staff joining the project and periodical briefing to project workforce & staff on all HSE matters.Review subcontractor document and monitor their performance to verify compliance to contract requirements.Maintain and update HSE statistics and forward the statistics to Head (QHSE) by first week of every month.Act as a trustee of the company ensuring outstanding performance in all HSE mattersEnsure implementation of Company IMS Standards requirements in its true spirit so as to ensure meeting company objectives.Any other assignments given from time to time by the Project Manager/In charge of the Project/Construction Manager/Manager-HSE
