HSE Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our organizations HSE standards ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Develop implement and maintain HSE policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with UAE and international standardsConduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actionsInvestigate incidents accidents and near-misses preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measuresDesign and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels of the organizationMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE initiatives using data analysis to drive continuous improvementCollaborate with management to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of business operationsEnsure compliance with local UAE HSE laws and regulations as well as international standardsManage and maintain HSE documentation including permits certifications and regulatory filingsServe as the primary point of contact for HSE matters with regulatory bodies and external stakeholdersStay up-to-date with emerging HSE trends technologies and best practices incorporating them into organizational strategiesQualifications : Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related fieldMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in HSE roles preferably in a similar industryRelevant HSE certifications In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE laws and regulations as well as international HSE standards Proven experience in risk assessment incident investigation and safety management systemsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insightsProficiency in HSE software and data analysis toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levelsDemonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging HSE training programsStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusWillingness to work in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates and adapt to local cultural considerationsAdditional Information : Your team and working environment:Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is a unique resort; where exclusivity and luxury define every experience every time.
