About the job HSE Inspector (Drainage Work Projects)Stantec is looking to recruitHSE Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi.The role involves working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:Responsible for site Safety health and environment management.Assist with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan.Confirm necessary documentation was submitted to the relevant authorities.Attend project planning meetings. Attend regular site, technical and progress meetings. Facilitate site health and safety meetings.Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribution of health and safety specific documents to sub-contractors.Compiling project specific emergency response and preparedness plansTesting the effectiveness of the emergency response plansConduct site safety inductions.Oversee the reporting and investigation of project related incidents.Development of technical reports in relation to health and safety issues and communicate through presentations to diverse groups of decision makers.Client Service ManagementInternal and external client liaisonAbility to build and maintain safety environment at site.Experience in infra project HSE supervision Management.Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.Maintain the health and safety environment at workplace.Other duties as requested from time to time by the Resident EngineerQualifications:Minimum 7 to 10 years of work experience in safety role.Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related subject,from a recognized University.Certification in NEBOSH General/ Construction Certificate or equivalentExperience in SWS water network Infra project is an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
