Job Description
Job OverviewThe HR Operations & Payroll Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and manual payroll processing across Daman Investments and its associated entities.The role ensures accurate and timely payroll execution, maintenance of HR records, and efficient handling of employee service requests. The incumbent will support day-to-day HR operations including leave management, employee documentation, and benefits administration, while ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal policies.The role will also support the future transition from manual payroll processes to system-based automation, contributing to process improvements, data structuring, and implementation readiness.Key duties and ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end manual payroll processing across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCollect, validate, and maintain payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, variable pay, deductions, and reimbursementsProcess end of service benefits (EOSB) and ensure accurate tracking of contributionsAdminister pension contributions for UAE National employees in line with applicable regulationsMaintain payroll records, reconciliations, and prepare payroll reports for management and financeSupport the migration of payroll and HR operations from manual processes to automated systems, including data preparation, process documentation, testing, and implementation supportMaintain and update HR master data and trackers (Excel-based systems) ensuring data accuracy and integrityManage employee lifecycle administration including onboarding and offboarding documentationHandle employee service requests including salary certificates, salary transfer letters, No objection certificates (NOC's)Employment letters and other standard documentationAdminister and track employee leave records (annual leave, sick leave, and other leave types) and ensure accurate reflection in payrollProcess and monitor employee reimbursements and benefits including education allowance, school fees, transportation, and other applicable benefitsRespond to employee queries related to payroll, HR policies, and benefits in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with UAE Labour Law, internal policies, and audit requirementsCoordinate with Finance and relevant stakeholders for payroll funding, reporting, and reconciliationsPosition RequirementsEducational QualificationBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fieldTechnical CompetenciesStrong working knowledge of UAE payroll practices and labour lawExperience in manual payroll processingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (payroll tracking, reconciliations, data management)Familiarity with HR systems and payroll processesSkills / Personal AttributesHigh attention to detail and numerical accuracyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionGood communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneouslyProblem-solving mindset with strong follow-throughWork Experience3–5 years of experience in HR Operations and Payroll within the UAEProven experience managing manual payrollExperience working across multiple entities is preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
