Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & EngagementServe as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.Conduct employee engagement activities, surveys, and feedback sessions.Build strong rapport with employees across functions to maintain open communication.Grievance Handling & Conflict ResolutionInvestigate and resolve employee complaints in a timely and objective manner.Maintain detailed documentation of all grievance and disciplinary cases.Advise managers on fair treatment and conflict management best practices.Labor Law ComplianceEnsure adherence to applicable labor laws (Factories Act, ID Act, Shops & Establishments, etc.).Monitor statutory compliances including working hours, overtime, holidays, etc.Liaise with external agencies and labor inspectors during audits or inspections.Disciplinary Action & InvestigationsSupport the disciplinary process including issuing warnings, conducting inquiries, and preparing documentation.Ensure all actions are legally compliant and fairly administered.Industrial Relations (if applicable)Coordinate with union representatives to ensure healthy labor-management relations.Support collective bargaining processes and assist in agreement renewals.Welfare & RetentionOversee implementation of employee welfare programs (transport, meals, hygiene, health checks, etc.).Support HR in identifying attrition trends and designing retention strategies.Exit & OffboardingConduct exit interviews and analyze reasons for attrition.Ensure smooth offboarding and compliance with final settlement protocols.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Labor Law, or related field.2–4 years of experience in HR/Employee Relations, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing setup.Knowledge of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is essential.Experience dealing with unions or field teams is a plus.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong understanding of Indian labor law.Empathy, fairness, and integrity in handling sensitive matters.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.Proficient in MS Office and HRIS tools.#J-18808-Ljbffr
