HR Business Partner

This HR Business Partner role provides full HR support to the new Varian Medical Systems Saudi Arabia entity. This is a very exciting opportunity to build a new organization in a growing market. The individual will work closely with the Managing Director, Saudi Arabia on all HR related matters, including:Establishing the VMS Arabia legal entity in all HR related mattersMonitoring labor law requirements and ensuring full compliance for all laws and regulationRecruiting for all functions for Business UnitsAssuming responsibility for payroll processing and employee administration related to employment visas, Iqama, and works permitMaintaining HRIS data in SAP-HR and local HRIS if requiredSecuring HR-related compliance with regard to SaudiFDA, Data privacy and Company Q&A ProcessesEstablishing HR processes and procedures under Saudi Labor Law such as employee handbook, expense policies etc and adapting company policies to local requirementsWorking closely with Ministry of Labor on GOSI Insurance TopicsRolling out company programs such as salary planning, succession planning, goal cascading, etc. to the client groupFacilitating group meetings such as manager assimilations and team buildingCoaching and providing training to managers and employeesWorking independently on a broad range of issuesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Science or Business Administration with focus on Human Resources’ ManagementMinimum 6-8 years’ experience HR Experience in Saudi ArabiaSaudi NationalStrong background in all employee life cycle processes like recruiting, compensation, performance managementStrong knowledge in local labor lawExperience in compliancy and regulation in HR related mattersExperience in establishing new HR processes, procedures and standard for new entitiesExperience in working in an industrial environmentExperience in matrix functional organizations and work with different stakeholders across the globeProficient in utilizing MS Office business toolsExperience with SAP or equivalent ERP software desiredAbout The CompanyVarian Medical Systems, Inc., headquartered globally in Palo Alto, California, is the world's leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer and other medical conditions with radiotherapy, radiosurgery, proton therapy, and brachytherapy.
