Role SummaryThe role is responsible for day-to-day administration, monitoring, support, and performance management of HPE NonStop (NS X Series) environments, including Base24 and BESS applications, replication, backup, storage, and security operations. The position supports production and DR environments, ensures system availability, compliance, and coordinates with application, data center, and security teams.Required Skills & Technical ExpertiseExperience with GoldenGate and DRNet replication toolsUnderstanding of Base24 and BESS applicationsExperience with HPE NonStop NS X Series systemsExperience with BackBox application, VTC Backup tool, and StoreOnce storageKnowledge of ViewPoint, WebViewPoint, and Splunk monitoring toolsExperience in system performance measurement, analysis, and utilization monitoringKnowledge of HPE XP8 storage and related SAN switchesKnowledge of OSM tools and monitoring of hardware componentsKnowledge of NonStop Software Essentials tools for system upgradesExperience with XYPRO XYGATE and SafeCom security toolsExperience in job scheduling using NetBatch, backup and restore, PAK/UNPAK toolsStrong experience with NSK Subsystems, including but not limited to:TACL, SCF, SSHCOM, MEASURE, MEDIACOM, SPOOLCOMPERUSE, BATCHCOM, EMS, TMFKey ResponsibilitiesProvide operational support for Base24 and BESS application usersSupport Data Center teams for backup, restore, and job scheduling activitiesPerform and troubleshoot backup and restore scriptsSupport and manage GoldenGate and DRNet replicationAnalyze daily and peak CPU utilization and coordinate with application teamsManage HPE XP8 ESS storage, including external space allocationAdminister BackBox for system-wide backup and restore operationsMaintain and monitor the StoreOnce appliancePerform daily system health checks using OSM tools for hardware componentsMonitor system disks and free space, and proactively alert application teamsVerify EXPAND links connectivity between Production and DR systemsReview EMS system logs for abnormal or critical messagesContinuously monitor systems via ViewPoint and WebViewPointHandle incidents and issues reported by operations staffMonitor database replication for Base24 and BESS systemsReview DRNet EMS messages, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issuesManage user access across NonStop systemsCoordinate with corporate security teams on compliance requirements, including:MFA enforcementAudit log integration with enterprise SIEM systemsPerform monthly payroll-related system activitiesCertifications (Good to Have)HPE NonStop certificationsCompute and Storage–related certifications#J-18808-Ljbffr
