OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Shift Leader to join our team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. As a Housekeeping Shift Leader you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff during assigned shiftsCoordinate daily cleaning activities and assign tasks to team membersConduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standardsTrain new team members on proper cleaning techniques and safety proceduresManage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentAddress guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionallyCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operationsImplement and maintain housekeeping policies and proceduresPrepare shift reports and communicate effectively with managementPromote a positive work environment and motivate team membersQualificationsMinimum 23 years of experience in housekeeping preferably in a luxury hotel or resort settingPrevious leadership or supervisory experience in housekeepingHigh school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management certification preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standardsEffective time management and organizational skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesProblemsolving skills and ability to make quick decisionsThorough knowledge of cleaning techniques products and equipmentFamiliarity with hospitality industry standards and best practicesBasic computer skills for managing reports and inventoryAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina to perform housekeeping duties and lead by exampleFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plusRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
