As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure efficient and effective operationsTrain, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality performanceCreate schedules for housekeeping staff, taking into account occupancy levelsMonitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessaryConduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet quality standardsHandle guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionallyCollaborate with other departments such as front desk, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth coordination of servicesRequirementsMinimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel settingExcellent communication skills in EnglishStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse teamAttention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanlinessKnowledge of proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicalsFamiliarity with health & safety regulations related to housekeeping dutiesIf you have a passion for hospitality and possess the necessary qualifications for this role, we would love to hear from you.
