The Housekeeping Manager will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.ResponsibilitiesManage, train and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high quality standards are metCreate and maintain cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely mannerConduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness is maintainedDevelop and implement procedures for efficient cleaning processesOrder and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linensRespond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping servicesCollaborate with other departments such as front desk, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth operationsMonitor budget for housekeeping department, control expenses, and make recommendations for cost-saving measuresRequirementsProven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a hotel settingKnowledge of cleaning techniques, products, equipment, and safety proceduresExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a teamAttention to detail with high standards for cleanliness and presentationAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessaryFluent in English (additional languages are a plus)Salary: 1500$ per month.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
