Ensures that the assigned area of responsibility is cleaned according to Hospital Policies and Procedures. Ensures that the assigned tasks are completed within the duty period possesses the skills required to operate equipment and requires flexibility to respond to a change of area/task or in an emergency case. Uses chemicals safely and utilizes resources economically. Plays an active role in waste management code of practice.ResponsibilitiesEnsures that the assigned area of responsibility is cleaned according to Hospital Policies and Procedures – Including car park areas.Ensures that the assigned tasks are completed within the period of duty.Advises the Supervisor of any discrepancies, materials, safety clothing, and consumables needed to complete the assigned tasks.Completes all tasks in a safe and qualitative manner.Participates in counting soiled linen from patient care areas.Ensures that the assigned area of responsibility is free of defects according to American Hospital Dubai's Policies and Procedures.Plays an active role in the waste management code of practice.Ensures that Housekeeping keys are logged in and out at all times.Ensures that lost and found property is immediately handed over to security.QualificationsBasic Secondary EducationPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEKnowledge of basic housekeeping/cleaning.Knowledge of cleaning procedures, handling of equipment, and cleaning techniques, especially including windows, facades, exteriors including car park.Physical ability and stamina to perform special tasks well.#J-18808-Ljbffr
