HostessTo provide prompt and courteous F&B service to the Hotels guests.Maintain a friendly and diplomatic relationship/manner withall prospective guests who wish to enter the restaurant or bar at all timesEnsure all reservation information is properly documented including time date number of covers name/room number and contact numberPrepare table allocations from reservation book before respective meal period seatingEnsure guests are graciously shown to their tables within a reasonable time of their reservationAdhere to hotel door policies and restrictions including local and federal age guidelines aligned with liquor licensingGuarantee there is host/hostess coverage at the reception/welcome desk at all timesGuarantee that the phone is answered within 2 rings in a courteous and helpful mannerEnsure door policies concerning the entry of guests and these are adhered to at all timesEnsure that seating is fair for all service staffPerform related duties and special projects as assignedQualifications :PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESGood Reading writing and oral proficiency in the English languageMust be well presented and professionally groomed at all timesAble to account and handle cash effectively and efficientlyGood communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skillsBasic F&B product knowledgeTeam player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detailQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredOne to two years in a public contact position preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand restaurant or loungeEnter and locate work related information using computers and/or point of sale systemsPossess a gracious friendly and fun demeanorAbility to multitask work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMaintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departmentsAbility to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamworkRemote Work :NoEmployment Type :Fulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
