OverviewPosition: Front Desk ExecutiveLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEWHO WE AREOliOli® was our first pioneering project - a childrens museum that redefined play and learning by creating immersive galleries for open-ended exploration. Building on this foundation, we are now bringing Hoppi® - a new play destination for families - coming soon to a new mall in Abu Dhabi.Hoppi® is designed especially for children aged 2–8, combining active physical play experiences with engaging, hands-on exhibit zones. We aim to see joy on children's faces.WHAT THIS ROLE IS ALL ABOUTThe Front Desk Executives are responsible for fulfilling Hoppi®s vision of creating awesome experiences and memories for children and families. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our company, welcoming and greeting guests. You will also act as a Hoppi® brand ambassador to coordinate front-desk activities, including providing information to guests, selling admission tickets and answering Hoppi®'s phone calls. The primary objective for this position is to engage with all visitors in an empathetic, professional, thoughtful and joyful manner.WHAT WE'LL TRUST YOU WITHBe an ambassador for the Hoppi® brand; ensure that each visitors experience at Hoppi® meets or exceeds expectations, specifically through inclusive, culturally appropriate, positive and memorable interactions with a friendly and sincere approachLearn about Hoppi® offerings, promotions, campaigns and events and communicate information about these with guests in an articulate and credible mannerTreat every visitor with respect and provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting them to the building and informing them of the exhibit areas and programsProvide excellent guest service, and facilitate visitors experience and journey through a proactive and thoughtful interactionContribute to a positive, team-based, and visitor-first centric cultureAttend to guest queries, and complaints. Amicably resolve matters with any dissatisfied guestsCollect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestionsRecognize and report visitors trendsAnswer phone calls, respond to queries/concerns/complaints in a positive manner, and direct relevant guest inquiries to the appropriate teammateSell Hoppi® merchandise to visitorsKeep an inventory of stock and front office suppliesHandle cash transactions between customers with various ticket salesReceive and process all payments according to standard procedures; process credit and debit card in a seamless and effective mannerPerform daily opening and closing proceduresSafety / SecurityProvide a safe environment for all visitors, specifically for the childrenAdhere to all policies and procedures of Hoppi®Assist visitors in case of an incident or an emergency situationAttend training and be prepared to perform emergency procedures (i.e. fire evacuation, accident reporting, etc)Other ResponsibilitiesWorking with other colleagues, proactively contribute to the success of any special events and programs designed to enhance the profile of Hoppi® within the communityPerform other duties and be involved in projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of Hoppi®s objectivesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLEEssential:Able to work weekends and public holidays.Advanced course work or experience in customer service, family learning, or retail operations preferred.Experience working with young children (ages 1-10) and their families in recreational settings, afterschool programs or classrooms.Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, adults, and large groups.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors.Excellent grasp of the English language.
