As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge our students. You will be teaching a range of history topics to students aged 11-18, including but not limited to world history, Middle Eastern history, and Islamic history.Key Responsibilities :Plan and deliver engaging and challenging history lessons to students aged 11-18Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, cultural awareness, and global citizenshipAssess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parentsCollaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive history curriculumParticipate in school events and extracurricular activities, such as field trips and clubsCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible learning experience for studentsStay up-to-date with current educational practices and trends in history educationMaintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant informationQualifications :Bachelor's degree in History or a related fieldTeaching certification or license from a recognized institutionMinimum of 2 years of experience teaching history at the secondary levelExperience teaching in an international school or diverse cultural setting is preferredStrong knowledge of history curriculum and teaching methodsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentProficient in using technology in the classroomFluency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic is a plusTeacher Teacher • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates#J-18808-Ljbffr
