This role is critical to maintaining smooth production flow, ensuring equipment readiness, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality output across all stages of tissue production. As a Helper, you will work closely with production supervisors and team members to perform essential tasks that support the manufacturing process—from material handling and machine preparation to cleaning and minor maintenance. Your attention to detail, physical stamina, and commitment to safety will directly impact our ability to meet production targets and uphold industry standards in hygiene, efficiency, and product consistency. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in a structured manufacturing setting with clear pathways for growth.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the setup, operation, and monitoring of tissue converting and packaging machinery under supervision.Transport raw materials (such as rolls, pulp, and packaging supplies) safely and efficiently between storage, production lines, and packaging areas.Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, workstations, and surrounding areas to maintain compliance with hygiene and safety standards.Support maintenance activities by preparing tools, gathering spare parts, and assisting technicians with minor repairs and inspections.Monitor machine performance and report any anomalies, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.Ensure proper labeling, sorting, and storage of finished goods and raw materials in accordance with inventory and quality control protocols.Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, including PPE usage, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and emergency response protocols.Participate in shift handovers and contribute to daily production reports and logs.Support team members during peak production periods or operational changes with flexibility and initiative.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or industrial operations is a plus.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment—preferably in paper, packaging, or consumer goods.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, industrial setting.Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and OSHA standards; experience with LOTO procedures is highly desirable.Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team-oriented, shift-based environment.Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, logs, and simple work orders.Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.Familiarity with material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is advantageous but not mandatory.Proficiency in using basic office or production software for logging tasks or reporting issues.#J-18808-Ljbffr
