As a Heavy Equipment Transporter, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment to various job sites.ResponsibilitiesOperate and drive various types of heavy equipment transport vehicles such as flatbed trucks, lowboy trailers, and specialized transport vehicles.Secure heavy equipment onto the transport vehicle using chains, straps, and other necessary equipment.Follow all safety regulations and protocols while loading, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment.Conduct pre-trip inspections of the transport vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.Communicate with dispatchers to plan routes and delivery schedules.Maintain accurate records of transported goods, including weight, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Heavy Equipment Transporter or similar role.Knowledge of proper loading techniques for various types of heavy equipment.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to operate different types of heavy equipment transport vehicles.Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Fluent in English communication.This is a full-time position that requires candidates to have their own accommodations.
