As a Heavy Equipment Transporter, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment to various job sites within the city.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment transport vehicles in a safe and efficient mannerLoad and secure heavy equipment onto transport vehicles using appropriate techniques and equipmentTransport heavy equipment to designated job sites within Umm-al-QaiwainEnsure all necessary permits and documentation are obtained for transportation of heavy equipmentConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of transport vehicle and report any issues or damages to supervisorAdhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving on public roadsCommunicate effectively with team members to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure timely delivery of equipmentQualificationsPrevious experience in heavy equipment transportation is requiredMust have a valid biometric passport for travel purposesAbility to operate different types of heavy equipment transport vehicles (flatbeds, lowboys, etc.)Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations in Umm-al-QaiwainExcellent communication skills and ability to work well with a teamPhysically fit to handle the demands of loading, securing, and transporting heavy equipmentThis is a full-time position open to candidates of all nationalities.
