Health Club Attendant (Pool & Beach)

Overall cleaning of the Health Club Pool Beach and Bask to include but not limited to: dusting soiled towels and hand towels removal from changing rooms and Fitness area respectively retrieval of clean linen from linen closets vacuuming bathroom cleaning Steam and Sauna cleaning replenish supplies in Changing rooms and Fitness Area removal of Garbage from Garbage bins in changing room and fitness area etc. as per Fairmont standards.Attends pre-shift briefings and handover to Supervisor at end of shift.Turn on and switch off Steam and Sauna before opening and after closing shift respectively.Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.Reports any problems or questions to Health club Supervisor.Offer assistance to guest and heartists in a courteous manner.Understand simple instructions learn simple procedures and techniques.Perform routine work or the same task daily.To report instantly and turn over to security any lost and found items.To report any equipment malfunctioning.To report anything which may be a Health & Safety hazardMaintain excellent grooming and uniform standards.Read Understand and follow all department policies.Set up pool and beach areas with towels sunbeds umbrellas and amenities before guest arrival.Welcome and assist guests courteously offering towels and helping them find available seating.Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the pool deck beach loungers and surrounding areas.Collect and replace used towels and maintain inventory of towel stock.Assist with recreational or special events taking place in the pool and beach area.Offer cold towels refreshments or other guest experience enhancements as part of luxury service.Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications : Previous experience in luxury hotel environment desirable but not essentialHigh School diploma vocational training and/or 1 year work experience.Fluent in English (written & verbal) essential.Friendly and pleasant disposition with people interaction skills.Highly level of personal cleanliness and grooming.
