They are looking for a full-time Head of Year to start in August 2026.This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent Teacher of Maths, Science, Humanities or English or a middle leader to develop their leadership skills in supporting colleagues in strengthening their practice.The employerThe international school is a thriving and popular international school for students aged 3-18. They believe schools flourish when their people flourish.The job responsibilities includeAs a Head of Year, you'll promote high academic expectations for all students within a year group and monitor the academic progress of students across subjects using assessment data and progress tracking systems.You’ll identify underachievement within a year group and coordinate appropriate interventions in collaboration with teachers, department leaders, and the leadership team.You’ll take primary responsibility for the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within a year group and monitor attendance, punctuality, behaviour, and wellbeing.
