Head of Wealth Platforms&Products

<p><em>The Head of Wealth Products and Platforms</em><em>is accountable for the development, enhancement, governance and successful launch of new investment products, platforms and proposition initiatives</em></p><p><em>This job collaborates with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including portfolio managers, sales, marketing, legal, risk, compliance, marketing, local/global asset managers custodians, fund administrators and regulators to ensure that product offerings meet clients' needs and align with our overall business strategy.</em></p><p><strong>Key duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p><u>Product Management</u></p><ul><li>Develop and execute the product strategy for the wealth and asset management division, in alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.</li><li>Identify market trends, client demands, and competitive landscape to conceptualise new product ideas and enhance existing offerings.</li><li>Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand client preferences, industry trends, and potential opportunities for product innovation.</li><li>Gather feedback from clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to inform product enhancements and development.</li><li>Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and product performance monitoring.</li><li>Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure that all product developments and enhancements comply with relevant legal and compliance requirements.</li><li>Monitor and analyse the performance of existing products, identifying opportunities for improvement or necessary adjustments.</li><li>Work closely with portfolio managers, and research teams to define product specifications, investment strategies, and risk parameters.</li><li>Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, outlining key milestones and timelines for product development and launch.</li><li>Work closely with local and global asset managers to enhance the product offering across the company’s platforms.</li><li>Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management on product performance.</li><li>Ensure effective management control awareness at all times (No failed audits/ regulatory inspections for the product line)</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance for all products at all times. This includes ensuring that the product inventory is compliant with the relevant rules and regulations administered by local and global agencies.</li></ul><p><u>Platform management</u></p><ul><li>Originate and manage relationships with local and global asset managers in alignment with the company's objectives to be the leading feeder fund platform in the region.</li><li>Develop and maintain the feeder fund platform kit to enable seamless integration and implementation of new feeder fund relationships.</li><li>Develop strategies to enhance client experiences through digital platforms, ensuring ease of access to information, account management, and interactive tools.</li><li>Take accountability for driving the digital client engagement journey, leveraging technology and data-driven insights.</li><li>Ensure effective management control awareness at all times (No failed audits/ regulatory inspections for the platform)</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance for all platforms at all times.</li></ul><p><u>Proposition</u></p><ul><li>Develop and execute the proposition roadmap for the wealth and asset management division.</li><li>Take responsibility for market positioning of the company’s investment products offering, ensuring that the company maintains a leadership position in the industry.</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective product positioning, marketing materials, and sales training.</li><li>Collaborate with legal&compliance teams to ensure all marketing collateral and campaigns adhere to local regulations.</li></ul><p><u>Others</u></p><ul><li>Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.</li><li>Ensure an effective control environment for all verticals that the role is responsible for.</li><li>Effective leadership of direct reportees to ensure talent retention and growth.</li><li>Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><p><u>Work Experience</u></p><ul><li>A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in n product management within the wealth and asset management industry.</li></ul><p><u>Educational Qualification</u></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.</li><li>An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.</li></ul><p><u>Skills&Behavioral Attributes</u></p><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and industry trends.</li><li>Strong partnerships with key industry players (local&global asset managers, service providers etc)</li><li>Abilit
