Head of Teaching Staff

Our client is a world leading provider of education services with have an enviable list of major companies as their clients.As part of the growth strategy in the Middle East, Parkhouse Bell is recruiting several senior management and leadership positions for new colleges in Saudi Arabia.As Head of Teaching Staff, reporting to the College Principal, you will have responsibility for the overview of the quality of the delivery of the teaching of the curriculum, ensuring evaluation and driving improvements in performance of teachers and managers. To achieve this you are expected to:Provide strategic & tactical leadership and planning of curricular areas across the operationDevelop and disseminate best practice that enhances the student experience by encouraging retention, progress and achievement.Assess the quality of teaching, identify weaknesses and act as mentor and adviser to course teams and individuals to extend and improve their pedagogical range and effectiveness.Identify training needs and design Continual Professional Development (CPD) teaching staff.Management of the teaching staff training budgetYou must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.An attractive package is on offer for the right candidate.To apply - please send your CV to parkhousebell.You will have wide ranging responsibilities for teaching activities, curriculum development, HR process, quality improvements, and general administration.You must have education management experience, preferably in a vocational training institution, be practical, demonstrate commercial acumen, and be a motivator of people.Degree qualified and further education qualifications necessary.
