Head of Regulatory Compliance

A leading international bank in Dubai is looking for a Head of Regulatory Compliance to oversee regulatory matters across the region. In this role, you will provide guidance, offer constructive challenge, and deliver practical solutions to help the business stay on top of regulations while running efficiently. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, shape compliance frameworks, and lead a high-performing team.Responsibilities:Lead and manage regulatory compliance across the regionAdvise business heads and act as a trusted partner, providing constructive challengeImplement and maintain compliance policies, frameworks, and controlsKeep track of regulatory changes and assess their impact on the businessPromote a strong risk and compliance cultureWork closely with Risk, Legal, and Audit teams to align on key initiativesOversee projects and initiatives within the compliance frameworkProvide clear and concise updates to senior managementBuild and develop a high-performing team, ensuring succession planning and leadership growthMaintain strong relationships with regulators and internal stakeholdersRequirements:Bachelor's degree requiredSolid experience with Corporate and Investment Banking products and servicesProven track record in Regulatory Compliance at a senior level within a global financial institutionFamiliarity with regional regulators and evolving regulations, and how they affect the businessStrong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with experience engaging at executive levelsAbility to translate complex risk and compliance matters into practical business termsExperience developing practical, cost-effective solutions to complex challenges and implementing themStrong analytical skills, able to make sense of large volumes of data and provide actionable insightsExperience leading change and working with global teamsIf you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply or contact Patricia.DeGuzman@RobertWalters.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
