About the job Head of ProductionCalculate forecasted productions by land type and propose appropriate production plan through the year.Plan and manage the farming workforce effectively with the help of foremen, ensuring effective distribution of work to and output of work from all staff, while maintaining their security and welfare.Ensure that the monthly over time % of farm staff is well within control.Periodically inspect crops for any pest attacks and propose efficient treatment mechanisms to safeguard crops as per Global GAP recommendations including but not limited to the usage of IPM control.Analyze cost per unit production, monitor and take necessary preventive and corrective actions in an ongoing fashion to ensure effective cost control.Prepare and furnish to top management the monthly dashboard reports on production status indicating planned/forecasted values Vs actuals.Ensure effective implementation of all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance standards in all farm activities and operations through effective coordination with HSEQ specialist and/or as per recommendations of GAP and government stipulations/guidelines on HSEQ.Licenses/CertificationsBachelor's or Engineering degree in Agriculture / Diploma in horticulture or equivalent may be an added advantage.At least 15+ years of experience in managing different agricultural farming production.Production experience in poultry, cattle, sheep, camel and other livestock.Language RequirementsStrong oral and written language skills – EnglishArabic exposure an added advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
