Head of KSA, Business Development Climate & Sustainability ServicesS&P Global | Posted Feb 27, 2026 | Full-time | Riyadh RegionAbout The RoleThe Head of KSA, Business Development Climate & Sustainability Services will lead S&P Global’s Climate and Sustainability Services market expansion throughout the Kingdom, focusing on Financial Institutions, non‑financial corporates in hard‑to‑abate sectors, and Government Related Entities. The role requires deep client engagement, strategic conversations, and the ability to connect across ministries, national champions, regulators, corporates, and financial institutions.Key expectations include building a robust on‑the‑ground network, meeting senior executives, pitching tailored solutions, and designing offerings that leverage S&P Global’s data, analytics, platforms, and advisory services.Responsibilities And ImpactMarket Expansion & Positioning – Establish S&P Global’s sustainability and climate services in KSA and boost local market presence through ongoing engagement with ministries, corporates, and financial institutions.Client Engagement & Relationship Building – Cultivate lasting relationships with senior decision‑makers and engage in informed discussions on climate, transition planning, ESG, and sustainability.Business Development & Growth – Pursue new opportunities with financial institutions, corporates, and government entities; lead pitches and design tailored solutions using S&P’s offerings.Solution Integration & Delivery Coordination – Turn client needs into actionable projects using data, analytics, and advisory platforms, and coordinate delivery across global teams.Basic QualificationsSaudi National, based in Riyadh.10+ years of experience in a consulting role, ideally covering banking, investment, risk, financing, or sustainability‑related areas.Fluency in Arabic and English with strong business writing and executive‑level communication skills.Proven experience building or scaling a business, team, or regional market presence.Hands‑on experience in sustainability and climate topics.Deep technical knowledge of ISSB, PCAF, GRI, and decarbonization standards.Experience with quantification of financed emissions and Scope 1/Scope 2 emissions.Experience working in international organizations with global teams.Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and influencing stakeholders.Strong project management capabilities.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced PowerPoint skills for executive presentations.Ability to articulate complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.Confidence in engaging high‑level stakeholders.Direct reporting to the Global Head of Climate and Sustainability Services.Experience contributing to a hybrid delivery model.Commitment to regular travel within Riyadh.Business retention and expansion skills.Experience leading transition to recurring and subscription‑based models.Acknowledgment that this role is exclusively for Saudi nationals; no sponsorship or relocation.BenefitsHealth & Wellness coverage.Flexible downtime and generous time off.Continuous learning resources.Competitive pay, retirement planning, and student loan contribution.Family‑friendly perks.Additional perks such as retail discounts and referral incentives.Equal Opportunity EmployerS&P Global is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, military veteran status, unemployment status, or any other status protected by law.
