Head of Islamic Finance

Leading Banking organisation seeks Head of Islamic Finance to undertake a new position within the SME & Islamic Banking division. Reporting directly to the Head of SME & IB, you will undertake complete responsibility for:Developing, launching and managing the entire Islamic assets and liability products for all Corporate, SME & Retail Banking segmentsDeveloping and implementing marketing policies and strategies to meet organisational objectivesEvaluating market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plans and projects (new and existing)Overseeing and executing marketing, advertising and promotional activitiesActively developing a 1-2 year strategy and sales plan for product developmentTeam managementThe incumbent will currently be working within a reputable banking organisation in UAE or broader MENA region with a minimum of 10 years extensive experience in Product Management, with ideally 5 years in an Islamic institutionBachelor degree in Marketing, Finance or CommerceShari’a certifiedProven ability to manage and understand riskExperience of developing products and marketing plans for Islamic Banking products and/or segmentsStrong understanding of profitability drivers and market development across the various life cycle stagesExtensive knowledge of Islamic Financing structures adopted by Corporate, SME & Retail BankingFluent English.
