Job Description

Role Purpose (Why this role exists)The Head of Freight Management is accountable for end‑to‑end ownership of Jadeer’s Freight business, including strategy, P&L, revenue growth, margin protection, network strength, and operational reliability. The role exists to build a scalable, profitable freight platform that leverages Jadeer’s asset‑backed logistics ecosystem (transport, yards, warehousing, customs) and positions Jadeer as a national freight and logistics champion aligned with Vision 2030.Strategic Accountabilities (What Success Looks like)P&L Ownership & Financial Performance: Own Freight Management P&L (revenue, GM, cost‑to‑serve); deliver agreed annual budget and 3‑year growth plan; balance volume growth with margin protection; drive working capital discipline (DSO, credit terms).Commercial Strategy & Growth: Define Freight Growth Strategy by mode (Air / Ocean / Road / Multimodal), trade lane (Asia–KSA, EU–GCC, Intra‑GCC), vertical (Industrial, FMCG, Chemical, Projects); approve pricing strategy and commercial governance; oversee RFQs, tenders, and strategic bids; develop roadmap for NVOCC, LLP, Project & Chemical freight.Sales & Business Development Leadership: Lead and coach freight sales organization; set revenue targets, pipeline coverage, and hunting discipline; personally sponsor top strategic customers; ensure cross‑selling of Jadeer services.Carrier, Network & Partner Management: Own strategic relationships with shipping lines, airlines, global freight networks and agents; secure capacity, reliability, and competitive buying; approve carrier and agent appointments; manage network performance and risk.Operations, Service & Governance: Ensure freight operations deliver contracted SLAs; align sales commitments with operational capability; enforce SOPs, service standards, and compliance; lead service recovery for major customer escalations.Organization, Talent & Capability: Build a lean, scalable freight organization; develop succession, capability, and talent pipeline; embed performance culture and KPI discipline; ensure pricing, CRM and governance maturity.Decision Rights & AuthorityFull Authority Over Freight commercial strategy, carrier and network selection, pricing governance framework, freight sales targets and structure.Approval Required For CAPEX beyond approved limits, long‑term carrier contracts, strategic partnerships / JVs.Skills & CompetenciesStrategic & Commercial: Strong freight forwarding and market expertise; P&L management and financial acumen; strategic thinking with execution bias; negotiation at C‑level (carriers & customers).Leadership & Behavioral: High ownership and accountability; decisive, data‑driven decision‑making; strong stakeholder management; change leadership and governance mindset; resilient under volatility.Experience & Qualifications10–15+ years in freight forwarding or logistics.Proven leadership role managing P&L.Strong Air & Ocean freight background.GCC / Saudi market experience preferred.Bachelor’s degree (MBA advantage).Fluent English (Arabic highly preferred).#J-18808-Ljbffr
