This is a teaching and middle leadership role, and the successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active teaching commitment across Physical Education, Sport, and Games, delivering high-quality practical and theoretical lessons.The candidate should be dynamic, enthusiastic, and well-qualified, holding at minimum a B.Ed. or a bachelor’s degree in physical education, Sports Science, or a related field, along with a PGCE (or equivalent) and QTS.Have a proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning in PE, Sports & Games, with evidence of strong student outcomes across key stages.Demonstrate the ability to balance strategic leadership with an active teaching timetable, modelling outstanding practice in both practical and classroom-based PE lessons.Provide clear strategic direction for the PE, Sports & Games faculty, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, participation, and achievement across all phases.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PE and Sports staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable culture.Promote a culture of excellence in physical activity, sport, and wellbeing, encouraging participation, performance, and healthy lifestyles among all students.Drive a comprehensive and inclusive extra-curricular sports programme, including competitive fixtures, tournaments, and inter-school events.Embody a growth mindset, being reflective, adaptable, and solution focused.Be creative, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking, with the ability to inspire bot
