Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.</p><h3>About The Position</h3><p>Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Head of Design and Props to join the resort’s Entertainment Administration team.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the props department in the design, sourcing, fabrication, and maintenance of all props used in productions.</li><li>Collaborate with directors, designers, and production managers to interpret artistic vision and ensure prop requirements are met.</li><li>Manage the props budget, including purchasing, rentals, and labor costs.</li><li>Supervise and schedule prop artisans, assistants, and run crew.</li><li>Ensure all props are safe, functional, and meet performance standards.</li><li>Maintain an organized inventory of props and materials.</li><li>Coordinate prop changes and maintenance during rehearsals and performances.</li><li>Oversee prop storage, transportation, and strike procedures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to props staff and interns.</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Technical Production, or related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in theatrical props management or related technical theatre role.</li><li>Experience leading a team in a fast‑paced production environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of prop construction techniques, materials, and tools.</li><li>Familiarity with standard safety practices.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical documents.</li><li>Excellent leadership and team management abilities.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Creative problem‑solving and adaptability.</li><li>Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.</li><li>Proficiency in hand and power tools, fabrication techniques, and prop maintenance.</li><li>Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>We offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
