Job Description
<div><h3>Job Purpose / Role</h3><p>The Manager of DCM Unit will be responsible to guide collections for strategies to reduce delinquency and charge offs, analyze collection processes and recovery management, determine root causes and provide recommendations for efficient delinquency management at portfolio and individual product level of retail products.</p><p>Responsible to provide technical and operational support, including all aspects of testing, in the implementation of the retail origination system, retail debt management system, integrated dialer and contact center solutions for retail products.</p><h3>Policies, Processes&Procedures</h3><ul><li>Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.</li><li>Comply with all SAMA Rules and Regulations.</li><li>Provide correct and accurate information to Audit, Internal and External.</li><li>Provide correct and accurate information to Risk Management.</li><li>Provide correct and accurate information to SAMA.</li><li>and implement their recommendations, exceptions (any items found to be in non-compliance), and other points raised.</li></ul><h3>Day- to-day operations</h3><p>Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Retail Risk Management department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.</p><h3>Delinquency Control Strategy&Policy</h3><ul><li>Acts as an independent primary point of information relative to any and all retail delinquency activities and information.</li><li>Provide technical and operational support, including all aspects of testing, in the implementation of the retail original systems, retail debt management system, integrated dialer and contact center solution.</li><li>Ownership and management of change request process for automation of origination (OMDM system) in Retail Risk.</li><li>Oversight over implementation and ongoing maintenance of systems related to collections, recovery, remedial management.</li><li>Guides the establishment (together with Secured and Unsecured Product Units) of procedures and processes for Collections, Recovery, and Remedial management for retail asset products.</li><li>Perform various MIS and portfolio analytics to monitor and mitigate delinquency. Establish root cause and recommend solutions.</li><li>Review&propose of 'Collection Targets’ to ensure the collection targets are challenging and pushing collections for better performance in terms of delinquency&charge off control.</li><li>Provide feedback to other Retail Risk Management Units on performance of Collections, Recovery, Remedial for each product to complete the loop for policy /scorecard development.</li><li>Actively participate and contribute towards development of new and enhanced debt management and delinquency solutions.</li><li>Develop and collaborate with collection department, where required, and provide necessary education and guidance to collection staff with regards to delinquency.</li><li>Collaborate with collection department in determining course of action for delinquent loans in regards to payment arrangement, collection activities, and loss mitigation opportunities.</li><li>Monitor collectors efficiency and recommend appropriate measures to ensure proper coverage on all delinquent accounts.</li><li>Support and guide Risk Data, Models&Scorecards Unit in development of risk-based prioritization models for Collections.</li><li>To keep updated on any development of SAMA regulations and proceed to the analysis of data and the adjustment of risk policies according to SAMA.</li></ul><h3>Direction of Subordinates</h3><ul><li>Organizes and supervises the activities of his subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of Delinquency Control Management is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.</li></ul><h3>Continuous Improvement</h3><ul><li>Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</li></ul><h3>Reporting</h3><ul><li>Prepares departmental reports of Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.</li></ul><h3>Committees&Meetings</h3><ul><li>Represents the function and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.</li></ul><h3>People Management</h3><ul><li>Ensures all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff.</li><li>Ensures and facilitates the employment, training and development o
