Head of Agency Securities Lending

Launching and developing a Securities Lending/Borrowing activity Integrated in the Global Securities Financing team you will be the one person in charge of building a brand-new activity of Agency Securities Lending within First Abu Dhabi Bank. Supported by a dedicated and experienced project manager you will have the responsibility to concretely implement a clearly defined roadmap take strategic decisions in various areas relevant for the activity like choice of systems tasks prioritization or commercial initiatives to move from a project to a revenue-generating business. Based in Abu Dhabi the role requires numerous interactions with vendors as well as internal departments and a regular communication to management on progresses and blocking points.Key AccountabilityLeads and conducts the construction of a ASL activity within First Abu Dhabi BankManagement of the growth and follow up of the onboarding processDirect management of interactions with internal stakeholders (sales legal credit risk compliance IT Back Office)Direct management of relation with beneficial owners (Central banks and SWFs)Full responsibility of Agency lending trading and implementation of strategiesExtensive knowledge and access to the Asset Management communityStrong communication and Presentation skillsRemain prudent by maintaining highest standards of business ethics and disciplinesAbility to manage enrich and enhance relationships internally and externally across the community of Limited Partners and key General Partners.QualificationsA minimum of 10 year experience in the capital markets industry with a strong and proven track record in building and managing an Agency Securities Lending activityHaving relevant and concrete knowledge in onboarding processAutonomous rigorous entrepreneur spirit and capability to concretely deliverRemote Work:NoEmployment Type:Full-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
