Job Description

Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all pastry operations, ensuring high-quality production of desserts and baked goods, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team of pastry chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all pastry kitchen operations.Develop and design innovative dessert menus aligned with the company’s concept and standards.Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry products.Oversee daily production of cakes, pastries, breads, chocolates, and specialty desserts.Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).Monitor inventory, control food costs, and reduce waste.Train, mentor, and evaluate pastry staff performance.Coordinate with the Executive Chef and management for special events and seasonal offerings.Ensure proper maintenance and use of kitchen equipment.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 5–8 years of experience in pastry arts, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts preferred.Strong knowledge of modern and classical pastry techniques.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and creativity.Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).SkillsTeam leadershipCreativity and innovationTime managementCost control and budgetingProblem-solving abilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
