About the job Head Chef - Japanese CuisineAn opportunity for a Head Chef arose with our client in Dubai for an upscale Japanese restaurant.What will you do?Assist the Group Executive Head Chef in creating new menu items and new recipes if neededEnsure that all the food meets the highest quality standards & is executed on timeCoordinate with the kitchen team & assisting them as requiredTrain the team to prepare & cook the food according to the recipesStocktaking ingredients & equipment & placing orders as neededImplement and enforce all the HACCP guidelinesCoach, counsel, and discipline staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performanceEnsure all recipes are maintained and updated and accurate costing of all dishes preparedAble to execute recipes given by the Group Executive ChefWhat are we looking for?Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in an upscale JapaneserestaurantStrong leadership and people managementPassion for creating incredible food that delights & attracts customersCreative & innovativeHands-on approach to all operational aspectsExcellent culinary technical skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced working environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
