OverviewConstruction Estimators are responsible for estimating the work of particular projects. They estimate work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. They estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost of the project. We are looking for a hardworking Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, your main responsibility will be to estimate the work of particular projects by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.ResponsibilitiesExplore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirementsSelect, measure and track important metricsVisit sites, warehouses and other venues necessary to do the estimatePerform complex analysis of collected data and metricsPrepare relevant and reliable forecastsConduct complex risk analysis activitiesCreate and present reports to upper managementAnalyze and evaluate offersBuild and maintain long-term relationships with key vendorsPrevious working experience as a construction estimator for (x) yearsIn-depth knowledge of project managementHands-on experience with complex data research activitiesGood understanding of data analysis methods and KPIsFamiliarity with computer programs such as Timberline or HCSS HeavyBidAbility to multi-taskStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCritical-thinker and problem-solverQualificationsBA in engineering, construction science or similar relevant field#J-18808-Ljbffr
