Hair Stylist

Key ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and perform consultations in line with Salon guidelines to establish client's requirements.Understand the pricing details of all hair services and recommend and educate client accordingly during consultation.Execute all cutting, colouring, styling and finishing to high standards whilst providing necessary information to the clients about the products being used.Recommend clients appropriate homecare products during each service session.Maintain detailed clients’ service history by recording products used during each visit (e.g., hair colour details, treatment details).Learn and perfect new styles and techniques.Maintain technical knowledge by attending external and internal educational workshops; reviewing and researching publications, internet and social media.Attend events outside of our brand in order to promote the brand externally.Achieve service and product revenue targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.Take responsibility in building a clientele on a regular basis.Assist in maintaining adequate inventory level and assist in product ordering process by checking existing products and anticipating needs of the hair section.Take proper care of the tools and equipment.Adhere to the standards of sterilization and sanitation as routed by our Salon and Municipality.Ensure working areas are kept clean and all equipment and products are used with care.Farewell clients, guiding them to their next area.Reference and abide by the Salon’s Standard Operating Procedures, Policies & Forms Manuals.Minimum educational qualification(s)Minimum work experience requiredTraining Certification with Loreal or Kerastase is an advantageSkillsMust be expert in Ombre and BalayageThree (3) years salon stylist experience in an international standard salonHigh energy and flexible, friendly and approachable to clients and staff all the timeTo attend and be committed towards training and progression within the brandTo apply professionalism and a high level of customer service at all timesWell-experienced in hair colouring, highlights, hairstyling, hair treatments (Keratin and Collagen) and haircutHands-on experience with various coloring techniquesFamiliarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothingMust have the creativity to design and interpret hairstylesExcellent communication, social and customer service skillsDelivering results within a highly motivated and fast paced environment.To understand and adhere to company POLICIES & PROCEDURES and SOPs.
